Placing a unit on a La Grange lot
North of the BNSF tracks, La Grange is a historic district of Victorians and foursquares on deep lots with rear alleys, and that alley is where a rehab unit goes, on the apron behind the garage, invisible from the tree-lined street. South of the tracks the lots are newer and many have no alley; there the unit takes the driveway near the garage. Downtown, along La Grange Road and Calendar Avenue, storefront buildouts have the tightest situation, and the unit usually lands in the rear parking area behind the building.

The order starts with the address and the spot: alley, driveway or rear lot. Deliveries land after eight on weekdays to respect the village's construction-hours rules, and the driver levels the unit and shows whoever is on site how the lock works. Weekly service comes on the western Cook route day, when the tank is pumped, the interior cleaned and supplies restocked, all without anyone home. Event units are delivered the day before and picked up the next business day. Winter rentals continue with non-freeze treatment, and pickup is arranged the day the job ends.
